The Academy of European Law will hold its ‘Annual Conference on European Company Law and Corporate Governance 2018’ on October 18 & 19, 2018 in Trier, Germany.

The conference will analyse the European Commission’s new Company Law package in great detail. It will discuss how the Whistleblower Proposal from the European Commission could impact on corporate governance; the impact of Brexit on shareholders; the latest changes in corporate governance in the EU, and recent case law on surveillance in the workplace and its effect on companies.

The event is aimed at lawyers specialised in Company Law & Corporate Governance, M&A lawyers, and civil servants from ministries and national authorities.
