The 2nd Cyprus Anti-Fraud Conference will take place on Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Hilton Park Hotel, Nicosia with the aim of contributing to a healthier business ecosystem by promoting cooperation, communication and collaboration.

Organised by IMH and the Cyprus Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the event will be presented by Bank of Cyprus. It is most pertinent to those working within the sectors of: Accounting; Auditing; Finance; Tax Law; Fraud Examination; Internal Auditing; Police and Investigation; Online Payment Systems, as well as for CFOs and Business Owners; The Cyprus Security and Exchange Commission; The Attorney General’s Office, and the Customs Office.

A brief summary of the current legal position and practical advice will be given by Pavlos Panayi, Queen’s Counsel and Barrister at the 7Bedford Row at UK. Through the conference, participants will be given the information to boost their knowledge on issues regarding fraud so as to better equip themselves on dealing with it, as well as having the opportunity to network.
