The European Institute of Management & Finance (EIMF) held a course on CISI Risk in Financial Services at its Nicosia premises on June 14 & 15, 2018.

The aim of the event was to increase participants’ knowledge in managing risk in the face of the recent ongoing changes in the Financial Services Sector – both from legal and regulatory amendments, and from credit and financial shocks in the market.

The topics covered included: the key risks in financial services – operational, credit, market, investment and liquidity, business risk, corporate governance, regulation and risk management; international issues that reflect the needs of a worldwide market, and how to identify, reduce and manage specific aspects of risk.

The course was led by Petros Florides – Chartered FCSI, President of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in Cyprus.
